Terror by Night 1946
The story takes place on a speeding London to Edinburgh train. The passengers include someone who is attempting to steal the Star of Rhodesia, a huge diamond owned by Lady Margaret. Holmes is asked to protect the diamond, and boards the train to Scotland. He meets a mysterious lady accompanying a coffin, Vivian Vedder. Meantime a murder takes place and the diamond is taken. Holmes, Watson and Lestrade question the passengers. Professor Moriarty's friend, Colonel Sebastian Moran, aka Major Duncan-Bleek, who befriends Watson.
